Bollywood is a lucrative business for filmmakers and actors if they are ready to invest quality time and effort on a good script and strong narratives. Winds of change are blowing and the audience is giving importance to entertaining content over star power. So it has become important for an actor to pick a subject which strikes a chord with the masses and thus earn profits at the box office. While many stars and megastars have witnessed disasters and duds in their career, there are few actors, who have enjoyed maximum success ratio at the box office, thanks to their great choice of films. Meet the top three actors of Bollywood, who have earned a name, thanks to their massively popular work:

Varun Dhawan

Well, VD had a 100 per cent success ratio, till his last release Kalank hit the screens. Unfortunately, the period drama broke his phenomenal run at the ticket windows. Before Kalank, Varun had delivered 10 hits, starting from his debut film, Student Of the Year, followed by Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badlapur, Anybody Can Dance 2, Dilwale, Dishoom, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2 and Sui Dhaaga – Made In India. With his upcoming biggies like Street Dancer 3D and Coolie No 1 adaptation, we are sure that he will set new benchmarks at the box office.

Alia Bhatt

The powerhouse of talent and one of the biggest female superstars, Alia Bhatt, debuted alongside Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in 2012 release SOTY 2, which was a box office success. However, the actress earned most applauds and appreciation for her second film, Highway which was directed by Imtiaz Ali. Later, Alia gave hits like Kapoor And Sons, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Raazi, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and Gully Boy. In her list of more than dozen films, Alia has only two disasters – Shaandaar and Kalank. Coming up, Alia Bhatt has some of the biggest projects in her kitty like Brahmastra, RRR and Inshallah, which are expected to be bona fide blockbusters.

Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann has a nose for unique subjects and that was evident in his debut film Vicky Donor. While the actor does have a few unsuccessful films like Bewakoofiyaan, Hawaizaada and Meri Pyari Bindu, he mainly gained momentum and delivered consecutive hits with Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, AndhaDhun, Badhaai Ho and recently released Article 15. The multi-talented actor has interesting ventures coming up like Dream Girl, Bala, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Gulabo Sitabo, all of which are packed with entertainment.
