Rakul Preet is a workaholic and she is one of the busiest heroines in India. With nearly four to five releases in a year, the actress has proved herself not just in Telugu, but also in Tamil and Hindi. She is presently busy with the shooting of a bevvy of films in multiple languages.
For the past couple of days, rumours have been doing the rounds that Rakul is all set to leave Hyderabad for good. It is said that she has sold her house in Hyderabad for a lesser amount so that she could relocate to Bengaluru and bid goodbye to the city forever.
The rumours regarding Rakul selling her house didn’t go down well with her. She immediately took to Twitter to clear the air and rubbished these baseless rumours with a fitting post.
She slammed the media portals who reported this and wrote, “I wonder where the so call journalists get news from and who their totally uninformed sources are. When I bought my house in Hyd it was presumed to be gifted and now I hear I have sold it to buy one in Bangalore. All I would say is STOP SPECULATING and get some real news out! (sic)”
Rakul Preet is a no-nonsense woman and she has proved it every once a while. When she was called out names regarding her character, she gave it back to the troll left, right and centre.
In an earlier interview with IndiaToday.in, she opened up about dealing with negative articles and trolls. She said, “I respond when I want to. I don’t pay attention to trolls most of the time. As long as people around me, my parents and my friends know me, I don’t think I even have the time to look at them. I’m a workaholic and wouldn’t want to give the trolls some importance unless I come across a comment which belittles my character or upbringing. After six years of being an actor, I’ve hit back at a troll who made nasty remarks about my character. That was unacceptable because you can’t escape by saying anything just because you do not have an identity on social media. I didn’t respond to it like ‘actor’ Rakul that day. I woke up to that message and it was very annoying.”
