Akshay Kumar is asymptomatic and recovering well at Hiranandani Hospital. Yesterday we learnt that Akshay has tested positive on the COVID test and chosen to quarantine himself in a hospital. ETimes also has it that the superstar has been extremely concerned about the cast and crew of ‘Ram Setu’ who had been shooting with him at Mumbai’s Madh Island in the recent past.
Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi (of ‘Pinjar’ fame), Creative Director of ‘Ram Setu’, who was with Akshay on Saturday at Madh Island also rushed for a COVID test. The news on Dwivedi’s front is that he has tested negative.
Both the lead actresses of ‘Ram Setu’, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, were on the set on Saturday and have isolated themselves as a precautionary measure. It is obvious that they are soon going to get a COVID test done.
A source says, “Akshay has spoken to the ‘Ram Setu’ officials and asked if all in question have been tested. Also, he has told them to look into each and every team member’s welfare.”
Last night, ETimes also broke the story that 45 incoming junior artistes of ‘Ram Setu’ had tested positive.
