Genelia D’Souza loves to follow her heart and she doesn’t mind facing challenges while doing the same. On Women’s Day, when many were talking about women’s success stories, Genelia chose to celebrate her failure. International Women’s Day is celebrated globally on March 8 to commemorate achievements of women.
The actress injured herself while learning skating and she shared a video about her recovery journey. In the video, the actress is seen skating in a room with a man instructing her. As she speeds up, she falls backward and injures her arm.
She captioned the post, “My Recovery Pawri Story. A few weeks ago I decided to learn skating because I thought I could be an inspirational and great company to my kids.. I envisioned putting out a really cool video on the gram once I learned it… Alas!!!!”
She added, “But I thought I should put this out in any way, because the gram is always about success stories but how about the times we fall?? “sometimes you got to fall before you fly” I hope I find it in my heart to rise despite my fall but what’s important is I TRIED and I will try n try till I succeed ( hopefully with no more falls) Happy Women’s Day all you beautiful women (sic).”
Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh met each other in 2002 on the sets of a film. They fell in love while working together and started a relationship. They decided to tie the knot in 2012. The couple have two boys – Riaan and Rahyl. Genelia was last seen in the 2020 film It’s My Life. The film was directed by Anees Bazmee and starred Harman Baweja, Genelia and Nana Patekar in lead roles.
