Mahesh Babu is upbeat about his upcoming film, Sarileru Neekevvaru. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the family drama features Rashmika Mandanna, Vijayshanti, Prakash Raj, Aadhi Pinisetty, Naresh, Rajendra Prasad and Anasuya Bharadwaj in pivotal roles.
The makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru released the film’s teaser and it is already trending on all social media platforms. In the film, Mahesh Babu essays the role of army commando Major Ajay Krishna. In the one-minute-long teaser, he takes part in military operations in Kashmir.
Sarileru Neekevvaru also features Vijayshanti and Prakash Raj in solid roles. The story shifts from Kashmir to Kurnool where Mahesh Babu is seen schooling a bunch of goons about patriotism and how they should treat women.
Sarileru Neekevvaru is all set to release worldwide this Sankranti. Sources close to the team revealed that the film will release on January 11. An official confirmation regarding the film’s release date will be unveiled soon.
In a recent interview, Namrata Shirodkar said that Mahesh Babu will take three months break from work after Sarileru Neekevvaru. “Yes, Mahesh is taking a three-month break after the release of Sarileru Neekevvaru in January. He wants to just float through some time, be on his own, spend time with (his children) Gautam and Tara. He will also prepare for his next film,” said Namrata.
The technical crew of Sarileru Neekevvaru includes composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Rathnavelu and editor Thammiraju.
