As the festive season of Ganapati comes to an end, the nation begins the immersion of Ganesh idols from their houses, colonies, associations and other places. The last few days it has only been about Ganapati Bappa and celebrities too celebrated the festive season in their own way. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan too celebrated the festival at this residence Mannat in Mumbai photos of which went viral on social media. And on the ocassion of Ganapati Visarjan, Shah Rukh Khan sends out wishes to his fans and also reveals that the ceremonies at his residence too were completed. “Pooja done….Visarjan done. Ganpati Bappa Morya!! May the happiness of the world and beyond come into every household & for every family[sic]” wrote Shah Rukh on his Instagram page and shared pictures of Bappa from his residence. Shah Rukh Khan sure knows how to celebrate any festival fully.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has been away from films close to 10 months now. King Khan has not signed any film since the release of Zero last year owing to the debacle of the film. Speaking at an event recently, SRK said that he wants to enjoy the un-success at the present moment before he signs any projects. Speaking at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), Shah Rukh Khan said,”I just finished the last film I made and to put it lightly, it was a disaster. I said to myself that let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long. So I have taken some time off for next four or five months. As a matter of fact, I’m on these breaks… Coming here (Melbourne) and meeting people, realising and discovering new stories, doing intellectual speaking.”

King Khan may not be active as an actor but has kept his film production aspect rolling. Shah Rukh Khan is now producing a web series for popular OTT platform titled Bard of Blood which features Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala in lead roles. The trailer was released recently and is stunning in every aspect. Have you watched it? Watch it here ICYMI…
