Shraddha Kapoor is one of the busiest actresses we have in Bollywood. However, she is one actress who has always made time for her family during special occasions, despite busy schedule and the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi is definitely one of them. Recently, Shraddha shared some of her fond memories related to the Ganpati festival. Reminiscing the time from her childhood when she celebrated the festival, Shraddha revealed that her first ever modak was given to her by her grandmother.
Speaking about what she loves about the festival, she added that she loves that she gets to catch up with all her relatives, during this time. She remembered that growing up, all her cousins, aunts and uncles would come to the house and they would do the aarti together.
Elaborating more on the same, she revealed that her grandfather, Pandharianth Kolhapure was a classical singer and they would have a musical evening. Even her mother and aunt would join him. She also added that she would be extremely nervous to sing in front of everyone but she would, and she gradually got better each year.
The actress spoke about how she made time to celebrate the festival of the elephant God despite her hectic schedule. She reportedly said that it has been extremely hectic but she is trying her best to come out of the work mode and be at home for Ganpati, even if it’s for a short while as this is festival is close to her heart.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shraddha is currently basking on the success of her latest released film, ‘Saaho’ where she was paired opposite South superstar Prabhas. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and audiences alike.
Apart from ‘Saaho’, Shraddha will also be seen collaborating with her ‘ABCD 2’ co-star Varun Dhawan for Remo D’Souza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’.
Shraddha is also part of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ which also stars Sushant Singh Rajpu and others in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on September 6, 2019.
